Samaritan Harvest exists to rescue food that would otherwise be wasted. We are committed to transporting this food to soup kitchens and outreaches safely and free of charge. This reduces hunger and provides a witness of God’s love and provision.

Samaritan Harvest is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization under Spencerport Assembly of God that coordinates 50 food pickups per week at 12 stores across Rochester. In total 2,129,738 pounds of food were rescued and distributed to ninety ministries over the course of the year. The retail value of the provided product is estimated at well over $2.3 million dollars. Although it is difficult to quantify the exact number of people fed through these distributions, government estimates qualify these amounts as enough food to feed 453,135 people for a day. We also provide items used for personal and household care. If you or someone you know is in need, Samaritan Harvest brings prepared and non-perishable foods to Spencerport Assembly of God every 4th Sunday of the month.
